The Real Madrid Football Club, better known as Real Madrid, is a sports entity based in Madrid, Spain. It was officially founded as a football club on March 6, 1902.
Participates in the highest category of the National Football League, Spain's Primera Division or Liga BBVA, since its founding in 1929 as one of only three teams that has ever played without having descended from her, next to Athletic Club and Futbol Club Barcelona.
